Streaming Settings for Microsoft LifeCam

Note: we recommend users who have Windows 8 OS, not to use Microsoft LiveCam Studio for broadcasting with HD Wave, as preview frames may be blocked.

  • Resolution – 1280×720 pixels
  • Encoder – H.264
  • Frame Rate – 30
  • Bitrate – 2500 kpbs
  • Deinterlace – no
  • Resize – Disabled

Audio Settings

  • Device – Microphone (Realtek High Definition)
  • Channels – Stereo
  • Sample rate – 48000
  • Bitrate 128 kpbs

  • Encoding Level – 4.1
  • Parallel Encoding – Enabled
  • CABAC – Enabled
  • Deblocking – Disabled
  • Reference Frames – 5
  • Keyframe – 3 seconds
  • B-Frames – 0
  • Adaptive B-Frames – Disabled
  • Intra Partitions – High 4×4
  • Inter Partitions- High (16×16,8×8,4×4)
  • Subpixel Refine – Quarter- Pixel high
